We are students living in settlement areas in and around Chettipalayam, Podanur, Coimbatore. We have enjoyed a wonderful and enriching education at Global Pathways Matriculation Higher Secondary School and hope to continue our studies at colleges and universities now that we have passed 12th standard. Global Pathways is a charity trust school funded by Village Community Foundation of Toronto, Canada. Please help us achieve our dreams by making a donation to this online fundraising campaign.

Global Pathways came to our homes 12 years back and explained the importance of education and made us realize the importance of school, cleanliness, nutrition and medical care. It was due to this school that we were able to enjoy all these facilities at a very low cost. Though our school collects Rs100 per month for our education, they provide us with uniforms, shoes, food, transport, sports, monthly educational field visit, periodical medical checkups (for full body, eye, dental, hemoglobin), language literacy and technological literacy all free of cost.

In our settlements selected families usually get monthly rations/provision. But during these pandemic crises almost all the families in our settlements were provided with bi-monthly provision from March 2020 - March 2021.

We, being the first in our homes and families to get a formal school education from LKG - Grade 12, have also enjoyed and made use of all the resources that were offered to us. And now, we know the value of quality education and would like to continue our college & university education. It will not be possible for us to pay the fees that most colleges have in their current fee structure and we cannot expect more from our school. So kindly help us to "Access Higher Education" by donating for our future.

There are 24 of us in our class seeking financial support or bursaries. We have attached our last year’s [2020] hall ticket for your reference. Kindly review all details below with an open heart and mind, also support our cause which is an initiative to build better future citizens of India. Through this campaign if each one of us receive Rs 1 lakh, we will be able to pay more than 70% of our UG course fee and the remaining fee will be paid by us by going for a part time job after college hours or during the weekend.
