My name is Jaikishan Agarwal and I have been selected as a delegate at the prestigious Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR) conference 2020. The conference will be held at Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass., USA.
I am a second year master's student at Sciences Po, Paris pursuing a degree in International Security with a focus on Europe and Global Risks. My primary areas of expertise are political risk, technology and governance. My academic achievements include several school awards, and a consistent focus on practical experience apart from classroom lectures.
At HPAIR 2020, I have been selected for the Governance and Geopolitics where I hope to use my years of research experience to contribute constructively with fellow global change-makers. I will not only represent my university or my country, but I will proudly represent a generation of youth who are harnessing technology to change the lives of millions around the world.
I believe that this conference is a golden opportunity for a early stage policy maker like me because of the expsoure to newer ideas and fellow youth leaders from the different parts of the globe. The biggest take-back from the conference for me will be the know-how and policy nuances to drive real change in the grassroots level.
Presently, I am in the processing of establishing a few community-oriented tech-based start-ups in Bangalore, with a focus on healthcare and data privacy. HPAIR 2020 is a rare and golden opportunity for me to expand my horizons and thinking to make better choices and come up with more practical policy solutions.
