M Ishwarya comes from an economically challenged family living in T nagar, Chennai. She lost her father at a very young age. Supported by her mother who works as a house maid and Maithri Trust, she has completed schooling and a diploma in clinical technology.

She has a younger brother who is currently studying.

Ishwarya has now secured admission for a post graduate degree in Ramachandra medical. The cost of the post graduate degree will be about 1.3 lakhs per annum for a total period of three years. Any assistance or leads for supporting the financial cost of her education is greatly appreciated.
