About the project
Hello everyone, I am Irfan, actor and independent Film maker, after being 15 years as an actor acting in several Tamil movies and television soaps as lead, and have directed three short films, smile please,neegal thodarbu koll vadikaiyalar and Rani ,I took a break from acting in 2016 and tried to be a full time film maker after finishing my first feature film script , but eventually it was a tough path getting a producer on board ,so instead of wasting time I had an idea to write a web series with a social message after reading an article,I started researching on mental health in India and wrote this script netru illatha Mataram which is a entertaining romantic travel drama which talks in-depth about mental health , I took me 1 year to complete this script after intense research, after approaching few producers pitching this web series idea as usual luck was not in my side ,we thought to crowd fund it as this discusses a major issue among today youth mental health .
