    Indian Foreign Policy Project

from New Delhi, National Capital Territory of Delhi

In 2024, a small group of students came together with one belief: that conversations on India’s foreign policy should not be limited to experts or closed circles. The way India engages with the world affects all of us: the prices we pay, the jobs we get, the safety of our people abroad, the decisions that define our future. Young people deserve a space to understand these choices, question them, and build the space needed for alternative futures.

This belief grew into the Indian Foreign Policy Project (IFPP), a youth-led community that now brings together thousands of students from across India and South Asia. Our work is simple: to foster debate, discussion, and thoughtful dialogue among young Indians at a time when global events are becoming increasingly complex.

In August 2024, we launched IFPP's Speaker Series to make foreign policy accessible through open conversations. Since then, we have hosted former diplomats, journalists, and scholars, including former foreign ministers, ambassadors, and award-winning reporters. These sessions are free and open to anyone who wants to learn, question, and participate.

Alongside this, IFPP has built a national community of over 4,000 young people, launched The India Way Magazine to compile critical discourse on global affairs, and run workshops and dialogues that encourage curiosity, empathy, and critical thinking. Everything we do is non-partisan and volunteer-led.

To keep our work independent and accessible, we depend on support from ordinary citizens. We do not take funds from political parties or interest groups. Your contribution helps us keep our programs free, bring more speakers to young audiences, expand our workshops, and support students across India who want to engage with the world thoughtfully.

If you believe that informed young people strengthen our democracy and that India needs more critical thinkers who build sustainable peace, please consider supporting us with any amount you are comfortable giving.

How will we use your contribution?
  • Year-Long Speaker Series & Public Dialogues: ₹1 lakh
  • High School Critical Thinking Fellowship Program: ₹ 50,000
  • Short-term operational support for volunteers and student researchers: ₹ 30,000
Thank you for helping build a generation that asks better questions and participates with clarity and compassion.
