“iGEM” (International Genetically Engineered Machine) is an international competition based on ‘Synthetic Biology’. The iGEM Competition gives students the opportunity to push the boundaries of synthetic biology by tackling everyday issues facing the world. The students of our department, will have a great chance to network with professionals in the field, get exposure, and get feedback from people with experience like you during the competition. Our students have already participated in the “Giant Jamboree" of 2015, 2016, and 2017 and have won medals. This year, the iGEM SVCE team was formed with 13 students from our department. We have proposed a novel idea to tackle very important socio-economic problems concerning agriculture.

We are seeking financial sponsorship for the competition, and we would be grateful for your contribution.
