With the month of October nearing its end, the temperatures have already started dropping down to welcome the winters.
The winters get real harsh in the national capital city of Delhi because of multiple factors like low temperatures, fog and pollution. The capital city is also a home to lakhs of homeless people who somehow manage to survive dwelling under the flyovers or just open foot paths. With not even the basic facilities available to them, 100s of these people lose their lives every year to the torturous winters.
Like every year, this year also, we plan to raise some funds and purchase warm blankets and clothes for the road dwellers and try to help them survive one more season.
Our plan is to generate funds by 10th of November and then procure the blankets and clothes, before heading out to the distribution drive on the occasion of children's day on 14th November.
Even a small amount of 100/- would help someone greatly.
