This is the story of Paratrooper Surendra Kumar, a courageous son of India and a proud resident of Hemipur, Himachal Pradesh. He joined the Indian Army in 1982 and went on to serve with distinction in Operation Pawan in Sri Lanka — one of the most challenging and dangerous missions in our nation’s history.

For years, Paratrooper Surendra Kumar stood at the frontlines, putting his life at risk so we could all live in peace. He served with valor, loyalty, and unwavering dedication — never once asking for anything in return.
But today, this braveheart and his family are in need of our support.

After decades of selfless service, Surendra Kumar now lives in a modest kaccha house with his wife and two daughters. The family faces severe financial hardship, struggling to afford even basic daily needs, let alone build a safe and secure home.
