The virtue of social service and the realisation ofour inherent capability to make an impact in the world we live in was deeply ingrained in me during school days. My teachers would remind us every day-You’re never too young to change the world.’ It was in June 2013 when the news of the Uttarakhand flashed on all newspapers. It shook me and left me with a desire to do something about it. After much deliberation I sought the permission ofschool authorities to launch a campaign for collecting funds from parents on the Annual Exhibition Day. I spearheaded the campaign and raised 1 lac on the day of exhibition. Indeed, it was immensely satisfying.
 Coming from small town in Bihar, I went on to graduate from SRCC, the premier institution of the country. I spent most of my collegiate years in organizing and managing meet ups and events. Later in my third year, I became actively involved in an initiative based on peer learning and teaching called ‘SRCC Wings of Fire’. It reaffirmed my belief in the magic of uplifting others.
I am a boy of dreams whose aspirations don't stop only to himself. I have a burning desire to serve the society and do better for the world because this world needs kind leaders.
Being selected for Harvard Asia Conference'19, I am confident of running a successful campaign against Single - Use Plastic.

Attending the conference on my own cost seems a very far-off dream because the cost is INR 1,00,000.
