Hi , We are group of school friends from class of 1989, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sector 4, R K Puram, New Delhi. We are here to raise the funds of INR 100,000 for the people who are living on the streets of Delhi and in need of proper and healthy food in this Covid 19 pandemic situation. We are coming forward to help such needy and poor people.

Covid 19 is a deadly virus but more deadly is the joblessness and associated hunger that is now out in open on the streets of this mammoth city. We are partnering with Goonj to reach out to the poor and marginalised communities on streets of Delhi. Our on ground agency is using a team of local traditional Bawarchees (cooks) in Chandni Chowk to make and distribute pulao twice daily to 1500 plus hungry people. They distribute cloth masks to those who don’t have them along with the meal and sanitize hands of every receipt of food packet. Along with this they also spread the message of social distancing, sanitation and use of mask. We want to support Goonj in their cause of providing relief to the poor and needy and help agencies like Talent Group Delhi 6 to help others in this fight against hunger arising out of Covid. Every hundred rupee could feed 8 people twice daily. Let’s fight the hunger pandemic together.

In the next 10 days, we want to raise the funds of 100000 for the same. And we are requesting you to contribute the amount, as much as you can, and help us help others by sharing with your family and friends.
