Our biggest strength is our dedicated staff of 200+ which includes medical, paramedical, administrative and support staff working tirelessly towards providing the best treatment and patient care. Some of our young dialysis patients have been employed at the hospital as a form of support to their treatment and livelihood. In addition to the full-time staff, there are around 50 visiting consultants offering their expertise under different specialities.
HBS Hospital is also a medical partner in the Mercy Mission coalition network.

Dealing with the COVID pandemic
In the month of July 2020, HBS started functioning as a 100% COVID hospital. The entire hospital with 56 beds was converted for COVID-19 treatment. All beds in HBS have the necessary oxygen lines & other high-end infrastructure including 30 beds with Ventilators. We have also set up comfortable facilities for patient attenders in the parking area. Further, a hostel was rented within 250 mts of the hospital and converted to a COVID Oxygen Centre (COC) with 32 beds for patients with mild symptoms or those recovered from the hospital but require some monitoring and oxygen support for a few days before they can head home. In the months of July to November, HBS served 1000 COVID patients. It is also among the few hospitals in Bengaluru to provide dialysis services to COVID patients.
In the words of one of the COVID recovered patients, “the entire team of doctors, nurses and even the housekeeping staff were extremely warm and supportive. They treated us like family. This encouraged me to feel good and get better soon!”
HBS hospital needs your help
The rates being charged by HBS for private/ cash patients is similar to the govt. mandated rates for govt. quota, and a significant deduction of the ceiling rates allowed by the government for private cash patients. This goes with our philosophy to reduce cost and burden of treatment for all patients. Further, additional discounts are given on case by case basis. If the patient is very poor and unable to pay the pending bill, funds are raised to clear the bills, thus ensuring no compromise on quality!
HBS needs the generous support of the common public to be able to continue to provide treatment to the needy patients suffering from COVID. In these difficult times, when the lesser fortunate amongst us are already struggling with access to a basic standard of living, we need to ensure that they are at most provided with good quality and affordable medical care.
Please help HBS to continue in its endeavour to serve humanity!
