Team Horus is a solar vehicle team of Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology (NMIT) consisting of students from different branches aspiring to be engineers who thrive to build a sustainable electric and solar vehicle, setting new standards and breaking existing records for functionality and efficiency. We charge forward with zeal to give rise to a reality fueled by our ideas and spirit of creation by effectively using technology to exude creativity and imagination.

Team Horus has participated in various events such as Electric Solar Vehicle Championship (ESVC 2019), Future Solar Design Challenge (FSDC 2019), and Indian Solar Vehicle Championship (ISVC 2018) and obtained several laurels such as Hero Electric Spirit and ISIE Future Award ESVC -2019, Best Design Award, Best Business Award FSDC.

The team has officially registered for the adventure class Electric Solar Vehicle Championship (ESVC season 9.0) 2023 organized by ISIEINDIA and co-organized by the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) and under the International Solar car Federation (ISF) which is to be held in the month of March 2023.
