My loving nephew Harshith 6yrs old was a happy child. Who would for sure bring a smile on your face & joy in your hearts by his innocent talks.

To our unfortunate, his life has come to a pause when we actually discovered about the disease. He was initially admitted in the hospital with a normal fever thinking it was just a viral attack. But only when his condition was not improving, doctor’s had to dig deeper by diagnosing all the tests/scans which includes Bone Marrow biopsy test, that is when they found out the cause of this illness as Acute B-Lymphoblastic Lukemia(ALL) Cancer. This is a type of blood cancer that body makes too many Lymphoblasts develop & gets worse quickly.

He is now getting treated at Oncology Cancer Institute, Hyderabad, India. He is going to be receiving aggressive chemotherapy with Blood transfusions & medications, over the course of what is anticipated to be atleast a month long hospital stay.
After Harshith will have several more chemotherapy sessions over the next 6-12 months with each session including hospital stay.This will be followed with outpatient chemo for 3 yrs beyond that or until his condition is out of risk.

It is very terrifying for Harshith’s parents to know & digest the fact , as they are already going through financial crisis due to pandemic. Harshith’s dad had to loose his job in a private Travel Industry, which was impacted due to COVID-19. Harshith’s mom is a School teacher whose pay is only sufficient for a daily provisions.
