'I'm still hoping that I'll wake up one day and go to the next room and see my mother,' says Harshit Malhotra, 18, studying for his board exams. When his brother Pulkit Malhotra, 22 and his parents- Mr. Munish Malhotra (primary income earner) and Mrs. Romila Malhotra contracted COVID-19 late last month, he clung to the hope that they'd all pull through it together. But on April 27, their parents passed away on the very same day at Bhagwati Hospital, Rohini in the ICU due to the negligence of the hospital and lack of oxygen. Both the kids, unable to be physically by their side because of hospital restrictions, were forced to say goodbye to their parents at the cremation ground. Their sudden tragic deaths has made a huge void in many hearts. Now, these children are struggling to cope with the grief, but also with how to keep a car running, pay school/ college fees, pay bills, fulfill daily household requirements and sustain family.
In order to help these kids, we are setting up a fundraiser for them. Please help us to raise some money to help support their near future.
Any donations big or small would be greatly appreciated.
