My name is Pragati Sharma, and I am reaching out with a heartfelt request to raise funds for my dear friend Harshith M, who is 29 years old. Harshith lives in Bengaluru, Karnataka, with his mother, and their family has been completely devastated by the sudden turn of events.

Harshith works at Cognizant in Bengaluru and has always been a hardworking, responsible, and caring person. He has been the pillar of support for his family and someone his friends could always rely on. Seeing him in such a critical condition is extremely heartbreaking for everyone who knows him.

A few days ago, Harshith met with a severe accident that caused multiple fractures and polytrauma, leaving him critically injured. The accident has completely changed his life overnight. He is currently in the ICU battling intense pain and undergoing continuous medical treatment. His mother remains by his side at the hospital, holding onto hope and praying for his recovery every moment.

Harshith is admitted to Manipal Hospital, Varthur Road, Bengaluru, where he is receiving constant ICU care and specialised medical attention. His condition requires close monitoring, multiple medical procedures, and intensive treatment, making the situation extremely challenging both medically and financially.

So far, we have already spent around ₹60,000 for the initial treatment, which was arranged through savings and borrowed money. However, within just two days, the hospital bill has already reached ₹3.5 lakhs, and doctors have informed us that he will need to remain in the ICU for at least the next four days to stabilise his condition. Even after that, a long and difficult treatment and recovery journey will continue.

The cost of ICU care, surgeries, medications, and rehabilitation is far beyond what his family can manage alone. Expenses are increasing every single day, and the financial pressure on the family is becoming overwhelming.

In the coming days, we urgently need to raise ₹15,00,000 - ₹30,00,000 to continue Harshith’s treatment and ensure he receives the best possible medical care. This amount is critical for his survival and recovery, but it is unfortunately beyond our current financial capacity.
