On October 7, I was admitted into the Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. For some reason, I injured a nerve in my arm and lost control of it. I ended up staying the night and most of the next day in the emergency room. Although I’m healing well, I realized the importance of giving back to my community. The staff at the hospital were incredibly caring and made sure I was doing well regularly. Whether it meant bringing breakfast within minutes of ordering or bringing me a shirt so I could attend my school Zoom calls, they always had my health and well-being on their minds. Now that I’m on my road to recovery, I want to do my best to help the hospital as much as I can. Therefore, I would like to raise money to buy items on the hospital’s Amazon wishlist, such as toys, games, and school supplies to donate to the hospital. I would appreciate any assistance you can provide. I believe that it’s important for everyone to make a positive impact on the people around them, and helping the kids at the hospital would mean the world to me.
