I am raising this campaign for myself, Harin Aiyanna Cheriyanda Raveendra, a 29-year-old PhD researcher based in Madikeri/Marcera, Karnataka. My academic journey has been driven by a deep passion for wildlife and the natural ecosystems that surround our region. Pursuing a doctoral degree is no small feat, and every step of this research demands not just dedication but also significant financial resources to make meaningful progress.
As part of my PhD thesis, I am required to conduct mandatory field data collection which is a critical component without which my degree cannot be completed. This fieldwork involves traveling to wildlife habitats, gathering on-ground data, and contributing to conservation research that has long-term ecological value. The estimated cost to carry out this essential phase of my research is ₹2,82,103, covering travel, equipment, documentation, and other field-related expenses. Without these funds, my research and the conservation efforts tied to it will come to a standstill.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will directly support not just my academic goal but also the broader cause of wildlife conservation in India and the world. I humbly request your support to help me reach this milestone. Your generosity will ensure that this research reaches completion and contributes meaningfully to protecting the wildlife and biodiversity of our region. Please donate and share this campaign widely.
