My Father Hari Shankar Badaik who is 68 years old is currently admitted and receiving medication at TSL hospital, joda Odisha.
He has been undergoing neurological disorder treatment since 28.08.2011. He faced locunar Infarct with sensory stroke on 19.08.2013. Numbness after stroke occurred on the right side of the body from face, arm and leg and developed unpleasant sensation. After treatment recovery to some extent was improved but could not be normal.
Simultaneously, he was having orthopedic problems in left great toe, heel and ankle. He already underwent surgery in Kalinga hospital Bhubaneswar on 18.12.2017. Later on, treated at NK Agarwal clinic, Cuttack. But problems persisted and he is unable to walk normally. Doctor advised another surgery on the left ankle.
On 13.06. 2021, suddenly he got severe vertigo while walking and fell on the ground and developed irregular heartbeat and other complications. Doctors suggested cardiac surgery.
Until now, we have spent about Rs. 3,50,000 towards his medical treatments. Here I would like to add that the costs of cardiac surgery in private hospitals is very high and it will be difficult for me to bear that costs. I consulted with few doctors of govt hospitals. They estimated the costs to be around Rs. 5 Lakhs which is reasonable. In the next 25 days, we need Rs. 5,00,000..00 more to undergo a cardiac surgery and further neurological treatments.
