I have done my engineering in 2016 and got a campus selection in an MNC (Asahi India Gl Ltd.). During my 2 year journey in the company, I have interacted with so many people labours, CEOs, Managers, engineers. Especially the people who have migrated from villages to cities in the search of a better life, better income have abandoned there house and villages and living a life which no wants to live. This incident made me realise that I have to do something for it.
So I left my job and started my research on villagers that why they are migrating to cities.
The migration also imposing an extra load on cities(huge population, traffic, pollution, an increase in prices).
This research leads me to the problem of low income of people, education, health services.
To Eliminate these issues and to make a sustainable solution for them, I thought to start a campaign but it had a sustainability issue.
Then I got to know about the Transforming India Initiative fellowship in Social Entrepreneurship, I found it similar to my goal which is to create a sustainable livelihood solution for the people. It can be scalable to improve the income of people.
Applied for the fellowship, after two online screening got a call for direct assessment. The two-day direct assessment was so rigorous. There were 20 participants from PAN India. But the zeal and passion to do something for people made me selected for the fellowship.
Now when everything was going to the path of development one major rock stopped me from starting a social entrepreneurial journey, which can increase the livelihood of the villagers and provide them with a sustainable source of income. Then there will be no need to go to cities for their sustenance.
The total fee of the fellowship is 814790 Rupee out of which 4 lakh will be provided as a loan. So I need 414790 Rupee to join the fellowship. There I will learn all the aspects of social entrepreneurship. At the end of the fellowship, I will start the social enterprise with the farmers of Uttarakhand hill. There we will grow organic foods through organic integrated farming and restart the life in villages.
