My name is Shashank Singh and I am here to raise funds for Gobardhan Behera who is 37 years old. I've known him for 4 years as he worked as cook for us friends.
He currently lives in Sabira village, Odisha with a wife & children. He is suffering from acute coronary syndrome and acute bilateral lower limb ischemia for the past few months.
He was receiving Treatment and Medication at St. John’s Medical College. Until now, we've spent about Rs. 2,00,000.
We've arranged the amount from savings. In the next few days, we need Rs.2,00,000.00 more for Further Treatment.

How this started?
1 hour after taking the 2nd dose of Covid vaccine about a month ago, he couldn’t feel his legs and one arm.
He was admitted at St Johns Hospital Bangalore where he was diagnosed with lower body paralysis.
Doctors gave the family a hard option of amputating both legs initially. Later they said it can be avoided only after a series of operations.
The family went ahead with initial operation required, post which one of the legs seemed to have gained some strength and control while the other still had no visible effect.
Charges were high for follow up operations and there is also a daily medical cost involved.
Due to this he decided to move to his hometown in Odisha and consult doctors there(which was recommended by his close family members).
Not getting anywhere in his hometown, he is headed towards Cuttack in hopes of getting better.
He has been barely keeping up with the loss of so many work places with Covid since the last 2 years and is financially drained.
He cannot bear for the expenses that come next for surgery and associated costs.
