While the world was welcoming the New Year, our family’s life turned upside down. My mother, Gita Devi, began suffering from severe abdominal pain and was later diagnosed with severe acute pancreatitis.

After multiple hospital visits and delays in proper treatment, her condition became critical. She is now admitted to the ICU at Jay Prabha Medanta Super Specialty Hospital, Patna, where she is intubated and on mechanical ventilation. Her condition is life-threatening, and every moment is a struggle.

The cost of her treatment is ₹1–1.5 lakh per day. Watching my mother in this condition is heartbreaking. We are trying everything possible to arrange funds, but we cannot do this alone.
