Reach for Each is a social initiative working towards increasing access to healthcare facilities for individuals working in the informal sector. This section of our population is often overlooked and severely marginalized when it comes to healthcare resources, despite their contributions to the Indian economy. The inherent characteristics of the informal sector make it so that their workers do not receive any insurance or healthcare services, even though their work can often be highly dangerous.  Reach for Each aims to mitigate this issue using a three-pronged approach that focuses on spreading awareness, providing resources, and engaging in preventative healthcare. 

In this vein, we have launched a podcast that addresses the lack of social and medical security in the informal sector through expert-led episodes. We also plan to curate pamphlets and a comprehensive repository of welfare schemes and pro-bono healthcare services to promote access to preventative healthcare. 

Reach for Each, in partnership with the well-known NGO Hamari Pahchan, is now seeking to collect funds for the creation of preventative health kits that contain items for long-term health and well-being, including smog masks, mosquito repellents, and hydration fluids, to distribute amongst gig workers. Further, we are in the process of organizing a health camp offering free screening and healthcare services for vulnerable communities in the Delhi NCR region
