My Mom, Geeta Hirlekar is hospitalized in Saifee Hospital and has been tested positive for COVID19 today. She was hospitalized 2 days back with high Sugar, weakness, gastro issues, and now a high fever.

And looking at her condition getting worsen, she was taken to Saifee hospital. She was admitted to the Hospital's emergency ward with the help of our family doctor. She was tested and the results came COVID19 detected (reports attached). She has health insurance with Rs. 2-Lakhs coverage. We’ve made an initial deposit for Rs. 20,000 and expecting the overall treatment cost might come up to Rs. 7-Lakhs.

We are also exploring for the Govt schemes (if applicable any). We are waiting for the insurance to confirm the coverage. Currently, she's in a COVID Isolation ward and getting treated and also, we prefer her to be treated in Saifee as her pre-existing conditions are serious and the doctors here are known of her health history.

Note: I want to assure you all that all funds raised will go towards the treatment costs of my mother post the coverages paid for via insurance and other schemes (if we receive any). A detailed update on the breakup of treatment costs and the use of funds will be posted once the treatment is complete.
