I am raising this campaign for my family and the financial crisis that we are currently facing. Earlier this year, in January 2026, our family suffered an irreplaceable loss when my father, Shashanka Acharjee, passed away unexpectedly. He was the sole breadwinner of our family, and his sudden departure has left my mother, me and my sister completely devastated, not just emotionally, but financially as well.

My father had an outstanding loan with Punjab National Bank, against which our family home is mortgaged. With all our savings exhausted, no insurance, and no other source of income, we are now facing the very real threat of losing the only roof over our heads. The bank has formally notified us to repay the dues within a few months, failing which they will proceed to auction our property. The total amount required to settle this and protect our home is ₹8,00,000. We are reaching out with humility and hope. Losing our father was devastating enough we cannot bear the thought of losing our home too. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us closer to keeping our family together under one roof.
