My name is Devi Sengupta and I am raising funds for my 46 y/o husband, Gourab Sengupta (Jojan) who is suffering from severe coronary blockage and Heart Attack and is currently under hyper care mode at RN Tagore hospital, Kolkata.
This fatal incident occurred on 13th of Feb, while he reached home after an evening walk. He suddenly lost his sensations, collapsed and badly injured himself. We took him to the hospital and after a series of tests, it was concluded to be a severe heart attack contributed by near 100% coronary blockages in multiple arteries. His current condition is not stable enough and he would need to stay in the ICU till his vitals stabilize for any further course of treatment. Currently, he is responding to medications and slowly showing improvements. He needs to undergo Bypass Surgery, Post Surgery Rehabilitation apart from medicines and consumables.
Over the last couple of days, we have already spent 3 lakhs on ICU and other medications. Overall this treatment is going to cost us around Rs.12,00,000 and we need funds to continue the treatment. We are unable to pay the required amount because we have already spent most of our savings. There is no other source of income left for us, we have exhausted all our savings and resources.
