Let’s Help Baby Kayara Hear the World !
Three years ago, in a small town in Haldwani, Baby Kayara came into the world far too soon. Born at just seven months and weighing only 800 grams, she spent the first 22 days of her life in an ICU incubator, her tiny body held together by the strength of hope and care.
Kayara fought bravely and made it through. She went home with her parents, Ganesh and Tara, and slowly began to grow. But as months turned into years, they noticed something wasn’t quite right. She wasn’t responding to sounds. She wasn’t learning to speak.
After many tests and visits to specialists, the family received the heartbreaking news - Kayara cannot hear, and as a result, hasn’t begun to speak either. Her only chance at hearing and eventually learning to speak is through cochlear implant surgery - a life-changing procedure that can open up the world of sound to her.
Ganesh, Kayara’s father, works as a domestic help and does all he can to support his family. But the cost of this surgery - nearly 7 lakh rupees — is simply beyond their reach.
This is an earnest appeal to your kindness and compassion. Every contribution, no matter how small, can bring Kayara closer to a life where she can hear her parents’ voices, speak her first words, and experience the world in all its fullness.
Please consider donating and sharing this story. Let’s come together to give baby Kayara the gift of sound and a chance at a brighter future.
Thank you for your support.
