Hi, I am S, and I want to share a moment that deeply impacted me. A few weeks ago, I was walking through a bustling market in Delhi when a boy sitting by the roadside caught my attention. He was about 10 years old, and his younger sister, barely six, sat beside him. As I walked past, he looked up and asked softly, “Bhaiya, can you buy me a notebook? My sister and I want to study, but we don’t have anything to write on.”
I stopped in my tracks. His words were simple, but they carried a weight that stayed with me long after. I asked him why he needed the notebook, and he shared that he and his sister couldn’t attend school because their parents couldn’t afford it. Despite this, they were determined to learn—scribbling numbers and letters on scraps of paper whenever they could find them. It broke my heart to see so much potential being held back by something as basic as a notebook.
That encounter changed something in me. It made me realize just how many children around us face similar struggles. They have dreams, ambitions, and the desire to learn, but life has placed immense hurdles in their paths.
This fundraiser is for children like that boy and his sister—children who are brimming with potential but lack the resources to fulfill it. Through Hamari Pahchan NGO, we aim to provide school supplies like notebooks, pencils, and uniforms, cover tuition fees, and even organize workshops to support their education.
The funds raised here will go directly toward creating opportunities for underprivileged children in Delhi to access quality education. I will personally ensure that every rupee is used to make a tangible difference in their lives. It’s not just about education; it’s about giving them hope and a fighting chance at a better future.
