Trident Sewa has been at the forefront of the battle against COVID-19. Now more than a year after its onset, after seeing a brief lull, we are again battling the disease with renewed dedication. The surge in the numbers this year has called for extra-ordinary responses on multiple fronts and our staff have continued to work long hours.

We are planning to start a COVID Care Centre in rural areas of Samastipur and Jamshedpur. This proposed Centre houses a 50-bed Covid Care Unit.

Our volunteers already started oxygen supply unit for those in need of oxygen since the beginning of the pandemic and continues to function everyday. To date, we have catered to almost 55-60 patients here. Rapid Antigen Tests and RT-PCR tests are done here and the patients advised accordingly. We continue to provide Home Monitoring Services through Tele-consultation and a large number of patients have benefited from this.

We are currently working to raise funds to support the COVID work at the rural areas. The current immediate need is in Samastipur(Bihar) and Jamshedpur(Jharkhand).

1.    Oxygen support –
    a. Additional oxygen @ 8000cuM per day
    b. Special HFNC cannulas to provide high concentrations of oxygen
    c. Bedside oxygen concentrators – 10 litre capacity only – 25 machines
2.    PPEs – which include the full suit and N 95 mask

5.    Pulse oximeters
6.    HFNC Unit
