My name is Kaustubh Kant and I am here to raise funds for my friend's father Francis Sebestian D’mello who is 71 years old and lives in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Francis had travelled to Europe to see his only son. There, he suffered from heart failure for which he was being treated but due to further complications, there were internal bleeding and lung infections which led to lack of oxygen and blood flow in the body. He was put on life support and was given blood and plasma transfusions. He is currently admitted and is receiving Intensive Care in Public Hospital, Esch-Sur-Alzette in Luxembourg.

Until now, we've spent about Rs. 15,00,000/- which was arranged from the family’s savings as the expenses are not being covered under the insurance due to several complications raised from the Hospital. Therefore, the entire expense is to be borne by his son and the family is now close to losing their one bedroom-chawl in Mumbai.
