The villages in Bhojpur district, Bihar have been washed away and submerged under water by the severe floods during the rainy season caused by the erosion of the Ganga River. 350 houses have been swallowed away in one village only, and thousands of villagers have been left homeless, losing their livelihoods and roofs. The poor villagers, devastated and rendered homeless are living in unhygienic conditions in open areas and plastic tents, without proper food, healthcare or any other basic amenities near the barrage.
They need our help and assistance to survive this tough time, to rehabilitate them and to help them to come to normalcy with support from all of us.
