Farzana is afflicted with cataracts (motiyabind) in both her eyes. The doctors say that her right eye will likely heal with medicine, but her left eye is in a very critical condition and must be operated on urgently.

Farzana needs Rs. 20,000 to pay for her eye surgery to prevent her left eye from getting severely and permanently damaged.

She and her family have constantly worked through the pandemic with Talent Delhi to help with COVID relief efforts in Old Delhi for people from some of the most marginalised communities including daily wage earners, single parents, sex workers, transgender persons, homeless persons, rag pickers and rickshaw pullers.
