I am Farhin  30 years and I am a cancer patient who has been battling against the disease since the past 1 of this dreaded pandemic. I am writing to you as I am in great need of help.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer 3rd stage in September 2020 and since then I have been taking treatment. I have taken 4 sessions of chemotherapy followed by 4 sessions of targeted therapy (perjeta and trastuzumap) which cost me upwards of 15 lakhs INR (i.e 20000 USD) after that my operation was done in March 2021, I thought I have won half of the war but the story didn’t finish there, my cancer was back within a month and this time it was more severe as it had affected my skin as well causing severe ulcers around the breast area. The dr. Recommended me to take another targeted therapy (Tdm-1 injection) that costs around 2.5 lakh per injection. A total round of 4 sessions cost me another 10 lakhs INR (USD 13500). I was being able to arrange for injection through crowdfunding and insurance offered by the office. After taking 4 sessions of TDM also my cancer wasn’t controlled. It metastasized and became more severe this time affecting various lymph nodes and muscles (latissimus Doris and pectoralis major) suggesting the disease is progressive. So the dr. Changed the plan of treatment again suggesting I take Tablet lapatinib and capecitabine. These medicines cost around 30000 (USD 400) After taking the medication I could see the improvement and was working fine for 4 months. Now in the fifth cycle of the medication, cancer has started increasing and now the ulcer is more severe and painful that is extending up to my neck.

The dr. has suggested to me that I have only one last option left to save my life that is the medicine trastuzumab deruxtecan (ENHERTU). But the harsh part is that it is only available in the US, UK, and EU and is equally expensive. Each session will cost a whopping 10 Lakh INR(USD 13500) and if it works there will be 4 sessions of it, 1 in each month which would make the total approximately 40 Lakhs INR ( 52000 USD). And if I want the medicine to be transported in India then the transportation charges will cost around 800 dollars for 1 time. I am the only earning member in my family and with a salary of 30000 cannot afford such an expensive treatment. I have already explored all the option available to me but has got negative responses.

Throughout the process, I never gave up and thus continued my treatment without breaking down. I even continued my office work including my daily activities because I have the hope to live and explore more of this beautiful world. But now I am helpless and out of options as I have used all the treatment options available in India. At this point, I am financially exhausted but I am still psychologically strong and have the energy to fight further against the disease.
 
You are my last hope of fighting this dreaded disease for saving my life as I don’t want to lose the battle to cancer at the young age of 30. I have attached all the supporting documents hereby. Kindly look into my situation at the earliest as I don't have much time left if I am not administered these medicines.
