We lost a dear friend, Ravi Ganesh to cardiac arrest in India in April 2021.
I am sure most of you would recollect coming across Ravi Ganesh at IIT KGP. Either at HJB/JCB where he would famously walk on the corridors with a water jug in his hand to the mess or in his Department or in the NSS Camp as I did.

Ravi, a gold medal alumni of IIFT MBA (IB), 2009-12 batch has always been the cynosure of all eyes. Despite having great institutional credentials such IIT Engineering Degree, he was a very down to earth personality. He was a kind of a person who never had "stress" as a part of his dictionary and was very calm and generous. Compassionate of data analysis, he was very creative and solves anything and everything just like that. With clear focus and vision, he was always in the top cards of the institution.
I remember him for being gritty and fun-natured, I also remember Ravi as a kind-natured person who would make friends with everyone.
Like most of us in our mid-careers – Ravi was doing well at work with a rich advertising and media experience. Ravi founded TMber Data Consulting in November 2020. Previously he was head of Data and Analytics at Havas Group India.
Ravi is survived by an 8-year-old son, his wife Vidya who is a homemaker, and elderly parents (Father is a manager at Syndicate Bank). Ravi was the sole bread earner for his nuclear family.
We wanted to come together and support his family and we look forward to your support. We plan to use the funds to create a college fund for his son and a small one-time payment for meeting the family's immediate expenses.
