A good friend, a great father and a treasured colleague
Ajay Singh was indeed a very good friend, loving father, and a trusted colleague. Across all organizations he worked (Tata Chemicals, Reliance Retail, Jubilant Consumer and Desai Agri Foods) he gained tremendous love and respect because of his sincerity, strong work ethic and unmatched dedication. He always cared for his fellow workers like his own and stood for them like a rock. Ajay was always generous for every cause and always placed the interests of his team and his family above his own.
Ajay contracted COVID on 4th May and was admitted at Atlanta Mediworld hospital, Ghaziabad. His SPO2 sats were at 90 and HRCT score was 16 at the time of admission. Later we shifted him to Yashoda Hospital, Ghaziabad.
Very unfortunately, his condition deteriorated and he was to the ICU on 15th May. With the onslaught of Covid 19 virus his lungs were severely impacted and despite being on ventilator support, Ajay succumbed to COVID at 8:20 PM on 28th May at Yashodha Hospital, Ghaziabad. All this while, he fought like a warrior that he truly was. Even while in hospital he was more worried about his family and his co-workers than himself.
As a sole bread winner in a family of 7, he leaves behind his aged parents, wife, daughters (19 & 17 years) and a son (11 years). His elder daughter (Ananya) is in the final year of B.Sc Hons in Chemistry, and his younger daughter (Jahnvi) has completed class 12 in 2020 and is preparing for JEE mains. His son (Anant) is in Class 8.
Now that Ajay is no more, the family is staring into an uncertain future. It has come as a huge shock both emotionally and financially. Your contribution will indeed help in educating their daughters and will go a long way in relieving the grieving family from an immediate financial burden.
Though we can never fill the vacuum created by his passing, I hope through this initiative we can create a space to honor his memory and through his kid’s lives Ajay’s legacy of helping and caring will live on…
