    Project Panah

    from Karjat, Maharashtra

Covid-19 has affected the lives of several families living in rural areas, who suffer from poverty. We, at Enactus, Universal Business School, have collaborated with Light of Life Trust, India, to provide a platform to the unemployed and skilful women in Karjat, Maharashtra.

About Enactus, Universal Business School
Universal Business School is one of the first Green B-schools with the vision to develop students and provide talent which is sensitive to Corporate Governance, CSR and the Environment. UBS currently has a student-based program, in collaboration with Enactus. We work towards developing projects and business models, keeping in mind the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals, that will benefit society and bring about a positive change. That being our first step, we hope to be a continuing process of inclusivity and empowerment.

About Panah
Panah is one of our very first projects, where we aim to produce quality masks and sell them at a reasonably lower cost, with a suitable remuneration to the rural women as well, in collaboration with the Light of Life Trust. The main goal is to provide opportunities and livelihood to these underprivileged women, enabling them to be financially independent. We’re happy and extremely humbled, to say that we have been successful so far!

However, we wish to expand our reach and use our resources to help more communities and families in getting access to our affordable masks during this pandemic.

We will use your donations for purchasing raw materials for the production of reusable cotton cloth masks.

Thank you for your love and support.
