Our Story: Igniting Change with Empowering Tomorrow
Hello, wonderful community! I am Rushikesh Jadhav, the co-founder of Empowering Tomorrow. I am thrilled to share our exciting journey. Empowering Tomorrow is a passionate volunteering organization focused on contributing towards sustainability, education and advocacy. I have completed M.Tech from IIT Mandi. We are a small team from IITs who want to bring about a change in the society with the help of our outreach program. Through our outreach programs in underprivileged schools, we create a sense of environmental awareness and curiosity in science which will enable them to use science as a tool to find solutions for environmental problems around them. In our workshops, we promote concept-based learning through hands-on experimentation thus empowering these kids to be future leaders who are environmentally conscious, rational thinkers and problem solvers with a scientific temperament.
Our mission is to instill environmental consciousness and ignite curiosity among young minds empowering them to create a sustainable future and helping them develop a scientific approach to life.
Who is this fundraiser for?
This fundraiser is for the countless bright-eyed school students who do not have access to quality education to learn science by experimentation and be future problem solvers for the society. They also lack awareness of the environmental problems we face today and how they can contribute to create a sustainable world. We are addressing both these problems by creating environmental awareness as well as giving them science as a tool to find solutions to these problems. These students are equally deserving and awaiting an opportunity to learn science through hands-on activities and be the future leaders to create a better tomorrow. We believe that nurturing their curiosity today and instilling environmental awareness from a young age will shape them into the conscientious leaders of tomorrow.
When do we need funds?
The journey has begun, and we have already started conducting outreach programs in underprivileged schools but we need your support to keep the momentum going. We're reaching out to you because we're at a critical juncture, aiming to secure funds to continue our school outreach programs throughout the academic year.
How do we plan to use the funds?
