    This fundraiser will benefit

    Education of Students

    from New Delhi, Delhi

Our Cause: The pandemic has made a severe impact on the health , mindset and emotional well - being of every individual irrespective of their age. It has majorly affected the  younger kids as because of the schools being shut for almost two years , the kids have not being able to get a safe space to continue their learning and interact with their peers which is extremely important in Early Years.
Working in an all girls Government School in Sangam Vihar , we observed that:
There is an  Urgent need for remediation among our stakeholders :
  • Majority of stakeholders are not aware about the importance and true purpose of education in life.
  • Due to which they are unable to understand why so much emphasis is given to continuation of education amidst pandemic , since two years.
As a result, the level of investment is very low and parents are not willing to play the role of Co-educator.
We believe that the role of parents and family as a whole is very important for the education and growth of learners.
Thus , we aim to give a strong NEEV (educational base) to our learners and  key stakeholders via:
  • Awareness
  • Basic Education
  • Skills
And bring a transformational change in :
  • Students as Independent learners
  • Siblings as Partners
  • Parents as Co- Educators
We , two Teach for India fellows- Sonal Dhawan and Roshni Jha initiated project NEEV with a vision that, "One day all students will become independent learners and complete their education with the support of empowered and socially aware co-educators."

We are currently , working on the education of our students and awareness of key stakeholders.
To achieve our  aim , we have to be on ground and work closely with our kids and key- stakeholders. Thus, we require funds to access  a safe space to conduct our sessions and hire talented resource persons and experts who will support us in our journey.

The Funds Break- Up for Project - NEEV:
21K :To rent a safe space in the community ( Sangam Vihar) for three months for our sessions and workshops with students and key- stakeholders

15K: To hire resource persons and experts for the workshops
