Vidya Vriksh Gurukul is an after-school learning program dedicated to providing quality education and holistic development opportunities to underprivileged rural and tribal children in Kishen Nagar community in Lakhimpur Kheri district, Uttar Pradesh.
Our Mission: Vidya Vriksh Gurukul is not just a learning centre; it's a platform where curious young minds from rural and tribal communities can discover the joy of learning and grow into confident individuals. We believe that every child, irrespective of their background, deserves access to quality education and a nurturing environment. We also believe in a holistic approach which helps children develop socially, emotionally, cognitively and physically AND empowers them to ask questions, problem solve and discover their unique talents.
Why We Need Your Support: While our passion drives us, financial constraints often hinder our efforts to provide the best for these children. We are reaching out to you for your support to raise 10 lakhs, which will enable us to:
- Sustain the Learning Centre: Your contribution will help us cover our operational costs, including utilities and maintenance.
- Support Teacher Salaries: Quality education is made possible by dedicated & talented teachers. We are investing in finding and training such teachers from within the local community, and your support will ensure that our teachers are fairly compensated for their invaluable work and have access to high-quality teacher training resources.
- Provide Learning Supplies: Your contribution will enable us to offer our children engaging educational materials which allow for richer learning experiences
- Organize Field Trips: Field trips expand horizons. With your support, we can take these children on educational outings that broaden their perspectives and ignite their curiosity.
