People living in slums have been hit hard by the COVID 19 pandemic. They are badly affected due to lockdowns and illnesses that have led to the loss of livelihoods. The slums that we work in have people who are unskilled daily wagers, Waste Pickers, Homeless, etc. This ongoing Virus has affected the health of the people and created a gap in society. The unprivileged section of the society started suffering due to the financial crisis, absence of resources, etc. There are families whose bread earners lost jobs, struggling to have proper food, there are still people who are sleeping on empty stomachs on the road.
To bridge this gap and create a positive impact, our team has been delivering Dry Ration, Cooked Meals, and Sanitary Care kits.

Dry Ration kit comprises of:
Rice 5 kg
Wheat 5 kg
Pulses (2 kinds each 1 kg)
Sugar 1 kg
Oil 1 Ltr (refined or Sarso)
Spices (all essential spices, every 250 grams)
Bathing Soap
Soya Chunks (1 kg)
Sanitary Pads
