Hi all,

I am DURAI MURUGAN (36 years old) and I am raising funds for myself. I am currently residing in Hyderabad .

I have been diagnosed with MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS 3 years back. It’s progressing and making my usual life difficult for me.

I felt very depressed when I came to know that MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS is an AUTOIMMUNE DEMYELINATING DISORDER and there is no permanent cure for MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS.

MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS is a disease in which the immune system eats away at the protective covering of nerves.

In MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS resulting nerve damage disrupts the communications between brain and body.

Treatment can help but this condition can’t be cured. Medical diagnosis and lab tests are often required.

MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS is chronic which may stay for years or lifelong.

I need to take medication to SUPPRESS all the attacks whichever come in my way during the progress of this disease. But the prescribed medication which is imported is of huge cost which is UNBEARABLE for me.

Apart from medication I need to take physiotherapy regularly.

Initially the first attack was in November 2016 which was my vision, I have a BLURRED VISION After consulting with various Doctors then I was diagnosed to MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS.

The second attack was in February 2018 and it is HEAVY TREMORS with my hands, I have less coordination with my fingers, to be frank I can’t even make a signature now and I can’t hold any objects and also I experience heavy FATIGUE through my body.

The third attack was in September 2019 and it is BLADDER DYSFUNCTION, HEAVY TREMORS and FATIGUE.

It’s difficult to cope up with the medical expenses. I am being treated at Pace/NIMS Hospital.

Please come forward and help me continue my treatment. Any contribution will immensely help me.
