75 Teens, A Second Chance to Dream Big.
Pulled out of school in 9th grade, Prachi became a dropout overnight. But at PathMakers, she restarted from scratch, scored 65% in her board exams, and now mentors teens gearing up for SSC this year.

Faizan failed 9th twice. With steady mentorship, he found his footing, and today, he supports teens standing exactly where he once stood.
Their stories aren’t unusual.
In Pune — the “Oxford of the East”, thousands of teens remain out of school, work, and opportunity. According to a Times of India report, over 12% of boys and 10% of girls in Grades IX–X across Maharashtra dropped out this year alone.
PathMakers exists to change that.
And this year, we're supporting 75 such teens - 25 of whom come from the highest-need backgrounds. We've committed to fully bearing their cost - 20,000 per child for the year - which covers mentorship, meals, materials, and a stable learning environment.
We’ve seen real academic transformation:
- A student who jumped from 19% in 9th grade to 67% in 10th
- 45 students — previously considered “dropouts”, showed an average gain of 30–35% in their academic scores from their Grade 9 and then in Boards
Our 7-hour daily program accelerates academics, builds life skills, and offers hands-on training in coding, filmmaking, and vocational skills — all within a trauma-informed, supportive environment.
And it works:
- 90 alumni since launch
- 5 student-made films, 2 internships on professional sets
- 3 alumni now mentoring the next cohort
- 4 teens already earning and supporting their own education
This year, 25 more teens need the same chance.
We’re raising ₹5,00,000 to fund their full-year journey, covering mentorship, meals, learning materials, and the stable, caring environment that turns hesitation into hope.
Every contribution helps a teen stay in education, and step into their future with confidence.
