Suicide is  a serious public health concern, and leading cause of deaths among adolescents in India.  

Due to the stigma, Indians typically perceive having a mental illness as shameful. Academic pressure,  stress, social pressures, modernisation of urban centers, relationship concerns, and the breakdown of support systems have attributed the rise of youth suicide.

Together, we must all stand up, speak up, and advocate for better solutions and implementation of resources for mental health.

SPPI is designed to screen high risk population, provide them early support and help needed incorporating family intervention, counselling and culturally sensitive behavioural therapy.

SPPI aiming to follow-up the change through family support and make sure person feel understood and heard.
