My name is Pavan Kumar, and I am raising funds for my friend, Divya Bhargavi Sandra, a 21-year-old student from Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, who is currently fighting a life-threatening blood disorder called Severe Aplastic Anemia.
A few months ago, Divya was diagnosed with severe aplastic anemia after a bone marrow biopsy at St. John's Medical College Hospital. Her condition has become extremely critical, as her bone marrow is unable to produce enough healthy blood cells needed for survival.
According to the doctors, Divya is currently transfusion-dependent, requiring weekly packed red blood cell transfusions and additional platelet transfusions whenever severe bleeding occurs. These repeated transfusions are only helping her survive temporarily while doctors continue evaluating her for a possible Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT), which may offer her the best long-term chance of recovery.
She has already undergone multiple investigations, treatments, hospital admissions, and continuous medical care. Her family has spent several lakhs on treatment, medicines, transfusions, and hospital expenses, exhausting their savings and placing them under heavy financial stress.
Doctors are currently proceeding with further evaluation, including donor matching and transplant-related workup. The family is now struggling to manage the massive financial burden required for her ongoing treatment, specialized care, and possible transplant procedure.
Divya is only 21 years old and has her entire life ahead of her. Watching her go through constant weakness, hospital visits, and painful treatment has been heartbreaking for everyone around her.
We humbly request you to support Divya in this difficult fight. Even a small contribution can make a meaningful difference toward her treatment and recovery. If you are unable to donate, please help by sharing this fundraiser with your friends, family, and social circles.
Your kindness, prayers, and support can give Divya hope and a chance to recover.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
