The trust not only finds and rehabilitates the physically challenged but also tries to uplift their standard of living. The physically challenged feel so bad and depressed to the level that they question their very existence: why they had born and why they have to live; they give up all hopes and lose confidence in life, but the trust gives them hope and confidence to face the world, It teaches them to take their life as a challenge and live it. The trust supports the physically challenged to come up in life and improve their standard of living.
Most of the physically challenged are in a downtrodden state. The trust without any bias of creed, race and gender help them in their basic needs, education, health care, providing handicap gears - wheelchairs, tricycles, crutches and walking sticks - and even arranges marriages among trust members.
The trust for the physically challenged: arranges picnic trips, conducts camps and gathers them to celebrate festivals.
The vision and mission of the trust is to find the needy and orphaned physically challenged and provide them food and a place to live (orphanage), to start a rehabilitation centre to rehabilitate the downtrodden and to start a vocational training centre to provide training for them so that they could earn something that would give them some self-reliance and self-confidence to lead an independent life. The primary aim of this trust is to uplift the physically challenged.
We have created a Subam Skills Development Coaching Centre as a new venture of Subam Charitable Trust. The purpose of this training centre is to provide vocational training and job opportunities for students with disabilities and visually impaired students. In collaboration with Enable India, we are launching this initiative to provide vocational training to students for the first time in Tamil Nadu.
We humbly request you to provide all possible assistance to our training centre.
