    Dipti Das

    from Faridabad, Haryana

My name is Bandana Deb and I am here to raise funds for my mother Dipti Das who is 72 years old. She lives in Faridabad, Haryana and has been living on Family Pension.

My mother is suffering from Ganglio Thalamic Brain stroke from 15/11/19. She had an accidental fall in the bathroom and there was a massive thalamic bleed inside her brain. We rushed her to the emergency ward of the near-most hospital, Asian Institute of Medical Sciences. They shifted her immediately to the ICU ward and started with the treatment. Doctor did not give us much hope in the first few days. The place of the hemorrhage is critical as it affects and controls our consciousness, response mechanism, memory, speech etc . A large hyperdense hemotama measuring 4.4 cm X 4.4cm is seen present in her left thalmoganglionic location. Midline shift of 7.3 cm which is very vast as compared to 3 cm in most of the cases is observed under the CT scan. Almost 2 litres of blood and fluid has been drained out in the first few days. She is still unconscious. Previously she was kept on a ventilator,  now, the doctors are managing her on a tracheostomy tube and  intravenous medicines and Nose feed. She is receiving her treatments at the Neuro ICU facility of the hospital. Each day expenses are exorbitant and we need to continue this treatment for as long as required.

Until now, we've spent about Rs. 600000. we've arranged this amount from our savings.

In the next 8 days, we need Rs.12,00,000 more (approximately $17,000) for further treatment, Brain stroke rehabilitation, Nursing care and medications. Please come forward to support my cause. Any contribution will be of immense help. Do contribute with an open heart and help me save my mother. Please share this campaign link with your friends and family. Your contribution is greatly appreciated and I thank you with all my heart.
