"Safety above Everything" 28th May is menstrual day let's create change in rural and tribal areas of our country....India is a country that is developing in all aspects but the condition of rural women is still the same when it comes to Menstrual Hygiene. Nearly 88% of Indian women don’t use sanitary pads – instead, they use rags, ashes, newspaper, sand. This is presented as ignorant and dangerous. It can be: all those materials can carry dirt and disease into the genitalia, leading to reproductive and urinary tract infections. As per the study, 20% of girls did not use the toilet in school during menstruation for fear of staining it, and more than two out of five girls had no idea about menstruation when they started with their periods.
I want to change that perception in the rural surat area and create more awareness in this serious issue.
Your small donation can make a big difference in the life of the underprivileged girls and women. Let’s join hands together to support them to be happy and comfortable during their most challenging days of the month.
