Aahaar is an initiative aimed to combat hunger among the underprivileged members of our society during this lockdown period.
Currently, we are trying to help 200 daily wage workers including 85 children living in a slum in Goa. The community consists primarily of rag pickers and scrap collectors. The lockdown has left the community starving due to lack of a daily income and unavailability of groceries and other essentials.
It is our mission to ensure that no members of this community go to sleep hungry or suffer from any hunger-induced illness. We seek your generous contribution to sustain this project.
