Longjam Romibala wants to live, she wants to smile once again along with us but her illness is absorbing her life inch by inch. 15 years ago she was diagnosed with diabetes and was on an off hospital as she could not effort medicine on a daily basis. But her life took a turn with a sudden heart attack (caused due to the stress and pain of poverty) and doctors have strictly advised her that a heart surgery is a must within a month to save her life.
Her brother, the sole bread earner earns 100 to 200 Rupees a day by working as a daily wager and he blames himself for not being able to treat his sister despite of all his efforts. The surgery will cost them 3lakhs but it's like a lifting a mountain to get 3 lakhs for a family who has never earned 300 Rupees a day.
It's near impossible for their family to treat her and she is hopeless, her only hope is the love, care and kindness from her mankind, she sees humanity as a ray of light in her dark life and she begs every one to kindly help her bring the life back.
