Update on why the target was reduced to 15L:

We're continuing to keep dad on a ventilator owing to the life risks and costs associated with ECMO/ transplant. We limited the fundraiser to present costs and do not want to raise an excessive amount of money without confirming further course of action because the ECMO facilities themselves are scarce and hard to find, and may come with a higher risk. With the present target (15L), we can afford to keep him on the ventilator for a longer time and try our best for his recovery within. We apologize for the confusion and hope your thoughts and patronage continue to be with our dad.

Mr. Dharmakirti Sonarkar (Age: 53, Diabetic) needs your help in fighting the deadly coronavirus complications. He is currently admitted and receiving ICU care at Criticare Hospital, Nagpur. He is on the ventilator since April 20 and he is being treated to reduce lung congestion. His body is fighting but we need more resources to keep the fight going. I urge you to please consider, even a small amount goes a long way. I need him back.
