My son Mas. Dhanvanth R S ( alias Rohan) (age- 8 year) had undergone a critical surgery of Diaphragmatic Eventration on 29.01.12 wherein the transverse colon in his body was operated and reduced back to the abdomen.
During the surgery, he underwent a temporary Cardiac Arrest wherein due to non-supply of necessary oxygen to the brain during the period of anesthesia. This has caused neurological damage to the brain. This has resulted in body stiffness and four limbs got affected (locomotor disability /Cerebral Palsy)
The doctor who performed the surgery and is being consulted had advised for daily Physiotherapy & Occupational therapy. This will ensure proper neurological responses of brain and body failing which the baby may not be able to perform his daily routine during the course of his growth and upbringing.
The expenses for the above .said therapy is Rs 400/- per day which would result in a monthly medical expenditure of Rs 12000/-(already incurred past seven years ) This is over and above the other medical expense being borne on account of daily medicines, domiciliary treatment at hospital and consultation fees from time to time.

The expenditure for the entire therapy treatment till date (past four years) was Rs 6 lakhs and those therapies proven 30% good improvements in my son daily activities and cognizant. Unfortunately, the monthly expenses of Physio-Therapy, speech Therapy & Occupational Therapy are not covered under any medical insurance, including JSPL Corporate Insurance.
My humble appeal to the well-wishers to kindly support me by taking up the financial liability of Rs 1,20,000/- per year incurred on account of the above said therapy for a period of at least one year.
